Getting the second item into the cart
66.6% of Go Forth orders contain a single item. One Buy X Get Y offer built on the store's runaway best-seller covers most product-bearing carts. The offer and its product-page widget are built and parked inactive.
Order size decides the offer type
Counting actual items per order, not order value bands: 499 of 749 orders contain one item, and the steep drop after two items means the growth lever is the 1 to 2 transition. That classifies the store as Case A, which points to Buy X Get Y discovery rather than bundle-first plays.
Items per order, 749 orders
X is unambiguous: the Paid In Full tee
The buy side is chosen by how many customers order a product, not by revenue. One product carries 20 times the order count of the next, so it is the only candidate for X.
| Product | Orders | Net sales |
|---|---|---|
| Paid In Full: It is finished (Tetelestai) unisex tee | 607 | $19,244.90 |
| Soul Property of Jesus Christ unisex tee | 29 | $854.20 |
| The Way The Truth The Life tee | 22 | $538.80 |
| Faith Over Fear unisex tee | 20 | $330.40 |
| Forged In The Refiner's Fire tee | 18 | $426.40 |
Y is a second tee, not a cross-category item
The co-purchase matrix, keyed by order, shows what customers actually buy in the same order as X. T-shirt orders are 99.9% tee-only. Hats appear in 3 of 749 orders. There is no meaningful cross-category complement, so the recommended Y is another tee from the best-selling set (Play A), which the offer type supports natively.
The offer, built and parked
Status: discount created as inactive, widget created as draft. Nothing is live yet. The storefront is public and able to render widgets as soon as the offer is activated.
| Side | Definition |
|---|---|
| Buy (X) | 1 Paid In Full Tetelestai tee, all 12 variants (Black/White, S to 3XL) |
| Get (Y) | 20% off any 1 item from the T-Shirts collection, 57 products |
| Discount | 20% percentage off the Y item. 10% is below the threshold where upsell rates hold up. |
| Widget | Product page upsell on tee pages, headline: Loved this one? Add another faith tee and save 20%! |
| State | Offer 2862 inactive, widget 9565 draft, linked |
| Reach | 99.1% of shoppers. The offer renders on tee product pages and under tee cart items, and tees appeared in 742 of 749 orders in the last 90 days — so effectively every tee buyer is exposed to it. Reach is the share who SEE the offer, not the share who qualify for it. |
Several Y products in one offer is deliberate: any qualifying tee triggers the discount, which roughly doubles cart coverage versus a single Y product.

Sources and method
Order data: ShopifyQL sales dataset via the Upnova merchant MCP for shop s9fped-ma.myshopify.com, June 4 to September 2, 2026 (749 order rows; phantom zero-order rows filtered). AOV: native average_order_value with Online Store channel and excludes_post_order_adjustments filters. Catalogue: public storefront products.json, 90 products. Classification rules: 60% single-item threshold for Case A, order-count basis for X selection, co-purchase matrix on the order key for Y selection. Coverage percentages: share of the 749 historical orders each offer would have been presented to, computed from the same order data (offer trigger present in cart, or order value at/above threshold). Reach is the share of SHOPPERS the offer is EXPOSED to (widget placement × how many orders touch that placement surface), independent of how many qualify for the deal.
